Eoin is a fully qualified teacher, registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, and holds a Higher Diploma in Education, with secondary school classroom teaching experience in Ireland and the UK, as well as extensive experience teaching in special needs education. He has also worked as co-director in Rockwell College for their school musicals.
In addition, Eoin holds a First Class Honours Degree, as well as an MA Composition from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and has had his original music performed throughout the world.
In his BA Music, Eoin's primary instruments were clarinet and trumpet, giving him a broad understanding of both woodwind and brass. He played both instruments in numerous orchestras and ensembles. Eoin currently plays French horn with the Clonmel concert band
Eoin is also in demand as a guest teacher with various youth bands, and has worked extensively with bands in Ireland, the UK, Netherlands and Italy, and continues to work with numerous groups, many for whom he composes and arranges their music. Eoin has taught considerably over the years with Banna Chluain Meala, teaching various instruments, as well as having conducted the band, and writing the music for their Irish championship winning shows on numerous occasions.
Eoin has also been involved in numerous other education projects in various schools (including High School CBS, Rockwell College, Scoil Chormaic).
